At Udupi Spices, we take great pride in the quality of our handcrafted masalas. We want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order under the following conditions:
- Before dispatch: Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing them, provided the order has not yet been dispatched. Contact us immediately via email or phone.
- After dispatch: Once the order has been shipped, cancellations are not accepted. You may initiate a return upon delivery as per our return policy below.
- Combo & offer orders: Cancellations on discounted combo packs are subject to the same 12-hour window.

Returns
We accept returns only in the following circumstances:
- The product received is damaged, broken, or tampered with.
- You received a wrong product that was not part of your order.
- The product is expired at the time of delivery.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Change of mind after delivery.
- Dislike of taste or aroma (we strongly recommend checking the product description before ordering).
- Products that have been opened or partially used.
Refunds
If your return request is approved, refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.).
- Processing time: 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be transferred to your bank account — please share your bank details when raising the request.
How to Raise a Return / Refund Request
- Take clear photographs of the damaged / wrong product immediately upon delivery.
- Email us at udupispices2026@gmail.com with subject line "Return Request – [Your Order ID]".
- Attach the photographs and a brief description of the issue.
- Our team will respond within 2 business days with further instructions.
Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. Requests raised after this window will not be entertained.
